White Gummy Jamba Juice Recipe

having worked at jamba juice for the past two years, i've got a couple of thoughts on this thread,

i'd say if you ask real nicely, you'd get a lot better results. my team members are usually more than happy to help customers figure out what they want--this method will work in any situation when you're dealing with people who work in the service business!

"Nice local kids get paid minimum wage / no benefits"
minimum wage in san francisco is currently 9.14, and benefits are provided for both full and part time employees. there are frequent employee evaluations and many opportunities for raises, and promotions within the company. also, there are employees of all ages, from all walks of life working at my specific store. I should hope the hiring situation at other stores would be similar.

"Support your local hippie-chick real organic juice bar instead, she needs the money to feed her kids."
some of my employees are mothers, themselves, feeding their kids and working hard to support themselves! i'd avoid confusing your perception of the brand with the situations of the employees who work for said brand.

i'd probably safely agree with Eli M., "Jamba juice is not bad for you, it is like any fruit beverage, it should be understood that it is chock full of simple carbohydrates. If you are into nutrition and eating healthy, I suggest the enlightened smoothies jamba offers, or get a smaller size." The all-fruit options are definitely better for you than the "milkshake-like" good moo'd smoothies, but they're fruit juices nonetheless.

Oh, and soy is always an option in the smoothies. it comes in a protein supplement, and also in the soymilk, both of which can be added or removed from any smoothie.

The prices are high, but I've heard from customers that they're not as high as juice bars in other states. I'm sure there are less expensive places out there as well. Also, just to clarify, the power size smoothie (yes, it's very, very large) is 32 oz, not 30. not much of a difference, but oh well.
